Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Camera Access

The App requests access to your device's camera solely to scan and identify Lorcana trading cards. Images captured by the camera are processed on-device using Apple Vision text recognition. Card images are not uploaded to our servers.

Photo Library Access

If you choose to scan cards from your photo gallery, the App accesses only the images you explicitly select. These images are processed locally on your device.

Locally Stored Data

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• Your card collection and watchlist data
• Scan history (up to 50 recent scans)
• App preferences and settings
• Cached card database for offline use

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Purchase Information

If you subscribe to Card Value Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.

2. Third-Party Services

The App communicates with the following third-party services to provide card data and pricing:

• Lorcast API — Used to retrieve Lorcana card data, images, and pricing information. Requests are made with card identifiers only; no personal data is transmitted.
• TCGplayer — Card prices displayed in the App are sourced from TCGplayer. When you tap "Compare Prices," you are directed to TCGplayer's website, which is governed by their own privacy policy.
• eBay / Cardmarket — When you tap marketplace links, you are directed to these external websites, governed by their respective privacy policies.
• Apple — In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to these transactions.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• User accounts or login credentials

The App does not require an account to use and does not track you across apps or websites.

4. Data Security

All card collection data, scan history, and preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. No personal data is transmitted over the internet. Card data API requests use HTTPS encryption.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• You can delete your scan history within the App
• You can delete your collections within the App
• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data
• No data remains on any server after uninstallation, as no data is stored on our servers

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
